24 May 2022 – Bromborough (UK): NewEra Metal Resources Ltd (the “Company” or “NewEra”) announces application for two (2) cateos (exploration concessions) each of 500 ha over two known bitumen occurrences (El Toqui and Arroyo Antillon) )which will form part of its Malargue west vanadium project. This project is now comprised of three (3) cateos for a total of 2,000 ha.
The El Toqui and Arroyo Antillon bitumen occurrences were identified during the exploration survey of the American Vanadium Corporation during 1946 / 1947. At El Toqui bitumen “workings” have been interpreted from the satellite study completed for the Company during 2019.
Subject to funding, NewEra plans to complete 1st stage environmental reports and reconnaissance work at the Malargue West project during the 2022/2023 field season.
